Palak Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese and Spinach Curry)

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 tablespoon (8 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon asaferida
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 5-6 cloves garlics, chopped
- 1 inch (25 mm) piece ginger, chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 455 g spinach leaves
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) water, divided
- 1 1/4 teaspoon (8 g) salt, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 300 g paneer, cut into cubes
Instructions - Instant Pot
- Press the saute button, When the pot displays hot, add the butter and oil. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
Can be serve with naan or any flatbread, rice or both. Tehri is a nice rice side dish to make.
