Beet Glaze

  1. Boil the beets in water until ready, for about 1 hour.
  2. Pre-heat the oven to 375F.
  3. Drain, peel, wash and chop into 1 inch cubes. Set aside.
  4. In a bowl, add the olive oil, salt, pepper, maple syrup. Mix well.
  5. Add the beets in the sauce and mix well.
  6. Add the beets on a baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes (before they become dry and shrivelled).
